Alexander James is a small but dedicated family business of bespoke tailors offering a personal service for tailored livery coats to carriage driving enthusiasts throughout the world.
With tradition at the forefront of their thoughts, Alexander James found two traditional cloths of the finest quality, one a pure wool Cavalry Twill and the other a pure wool Melton, from two Yorkshire weavers, (both of whom can trace their history back to the 1700’s).
Alexander James has taken great care to research the market and has created a range that includes:

The traditional tailoring methods used in the manufacture of a classical body coat is necessary for the quality, fit and perfect shape of livery.
